Job interviews in English

Interview coaching in English, on the questions that actually get asked

The barrier is rarely vocabulary. It is answering under pressure, in your second language, in a structure the interviewer can follow. That is a rehearsable skill.

Who this is for

  • You have an interview in English in the next 2–12 weeks.
  • You know your material but lose the thread when you are nervous.
  • You are interviewing across time zones and need to sound clear on a video call.
  • You are switching industries or countries and need to explain your experience in a new register.
The study path

What interview coaching actually looks like

Not a syllabus of grammar points. A diagnostic sequence built around the one thing costing you the result.

01

Week 1 — Role, rubric, and your real material

Your tutor maps the role and the interview loop, then runs a live mock with the questions that are most likely. You leave with a scorecard of what landed and what did not.

02

Weeks 2–3 — Story architecture

You build 6–8 STAR stories that flex across behavioural questions, so you are not memorising 40 answers.

03

Weeks 4–5 — Pressure and follow-ups

Hostile follow-ups, salary conversations, and the "tell me about a failure" family of questions. Recorded so you can hear your own filler and hedging.

04

Final week — Full loop simulation

A 45-minute simulated loop with a stranger-style interviewer, plus written feedback you can re-read the night before.

Job interview — the honest answers

Can you help with a specific company or role?

Yes. Share the job description and your CV before the lesson. Your tutor will build questions from the actual requirements, not a generic list.

Do you do salary negotiation practice?

Yes, as part of the interview block. It is one of the most rehearsable conversations and one of the most commonly fumbled in a second language.

I am applying in the US. Does that change anything?

It changes register and small talk, and it changes what counts as a good answer to "tell me about yourself". Tell your tutor the country and industry at booking.

Will one lesson be enough?

One lesson can fix a specific structural problem — a rambling opener, a missing result in your stories. It will not rebuild fluency. Your tutor will tell you honestly what one lesson can and cannot do.
